AIMS AND TARGETS OF THE WEB  SITE 

• To  tell  about  the  Department  of  the  Libraries and  Information  at the  Faculty  of  Arts – University  of  Alexandria .

• To  work as a   connection  means  between  the  academic  staff  and  their  cooperators , and  between  the  students  of  the  department.

• To facilitate  the  connection  between  the  department  and  the  graduates .

• To be  in  connection with  the  members  of  the  other  Library& Information Science  departments ,and  the  other experts  in  the  same  field.

•  To  give  the  opportunity  to  the  students  of  the  department  to  give  way  to  their  creativity  and  to  publish  it  on  the  Web site.

• To  give  information  about  the  department,  its  activities, its  professors  and  students.

• To  publish  scientific  essays that  have  been  written  by  the  teaching  staff  and  its  students .

• To  give  the  possibility  to  search  in  the  library of  the  department  and  to  talk  about  the  Theses  that  have  been  discussed  and  also  about  the  intellectual  production  of  the  teaching  staff and  its  collaborators .

• To  know  about  the  library   of  the  department  , about  its  groups  and  its  services to  facilitate  to  the  students  of  the  department  to  know  about  the  targets  of  the  department  and  the  intellectual production  of  the  professors  and  their  collaborators .

• To  facilitate  communication  between  the  department  and  its  graduates.

• To  encourage  scientific  cooperation  in  the  field  of  Library& Information Science .
